Have yours tested - if it is high try lowering through diet and exercise - if you cannot get it down you NEED TO BE ON A STATIN - see and doc and get bloodwork.

1/3 of america >:X kidding.

things that i find help with your cholesterol through research (not on myself) are avocados [i hate them], artichokes [same], walnuts [good], and oats [yummy]. of course a regimen of exercise needs to come along. if you try it out let me know how it works out for you! I'm not big on taking pills or things, i do it to try... but i'm against even if it's all natural i'm hesitant to take it.

add garlic to that list also! I love garlic

Supposedly, tolerance to cholesterol is congenital. Some people can eat all the eggs they want and their cholestrol levels won't go up, but for some people, they can't deal with extra cholesterol. I think you can go to the doc and find out.

my total cholesterol was 306 at 36 years old. my dad and grandfather both have high levels also. i have worked out for the last twenty years. it's all in the genes. they put me on lipitor and that has solved the problem. my cholesterol level is down under 200 now less than two years later and nothing has changed in my diet or workouts-----just a little pill every day.
